AskCodi workflow with VS-Code

1. Open VS Code application

2. Go to VS Code marketplace

3. Search for "AskCodi"

5. Go to AskCodi webapp

To start using the extension, you'll need the api key. To get that, go to https://www.askcodi.com and login with your credentials.

6. Head over to Profile

Click on Profile on top right of the webpage.

7. Go to Settings

8. Go to Security tab

9. Copy the Integrations key

Integrations key is your API key, present on bottom of the page

10. Go to VS Code and click on AskCodi logo on left sidebar

11. A notification balloon opens to store the API key

You can store it in session or in settings based on your privacy concerns. Here we use Session storage.

13. AskCodi is ready! Ask any question from left panel of AskCodi

15. Go to AskCodi and select the app you want to use

Here we use "Generate Code". The results will be visible in the left panel as chat.
